At Envirotainer I am a technician and welder for a FAA and EASA certified facility. My daily work consists of coordinating the repair and upkeep of the temperature control units that the company is known for. As a welder technician I perform any metal work required on the units alongside basic non-weld related repairs. I also make sure that all parts used in my repairs and the status of the units themselves are logged into our systems; these systems are shared worldwide by the company and our other facilities. I will often need to communicate with coworkers from said facilities around the world about the status of containers that are meant to be moved to other locations as soon as repairs are done. Because of this, communication through technology is key throughout our process to ensure everyone is on the same page.

At Wika I was a TIG Welder for their clean room. I welded small work pieces made of thin stainless steel that were then electropolished, helium leak tested, and used in highgrade pressure gauges made within the clean room. My responsibilities included welding and bending work pieces, checking paperwork for each order to assure the right pieces are being used, and training new welders.

This is an upstart company I ran as a partner with my family. My responsibilities here include effectively communicating with contractors from other companies to acquire new work contracts, decide payment prices, order materials for daily work, and communicating between contractors and the work crews. I also manage the companies paperwork, insurance, and funds in order to keep everything running smoothly.
